Argh! Le Tallac has been encouraged to go out on loan this year by Benitez! Makes sense if they're looking for him to develop, but all the same he's an exciting player to have in a Red Jersey. Barring any trades or transfers, it would seem that the four strikers for next season will be Owen, Cisse, Baros and Sinama-Pongolle.

Seems Le Tallec's loan could in part be due to the fact that he had told the Club he expected to be an automatic choice for the season. This is a guarantee that wasn't extended to many senior players! He'll be back I'm sure.
