Calgary Report - Day 2
Two hours ago I would have been telling you about how the sun came out in Calgary this afternoon and how I had a great walk around the city. I won't be telling about that now - a severe thunderstorm has covered the city and the rain in coming down in buckets.
My meetings today went very well. My morning presentation with a large Calgary corporate and litigation firm was favourably received - Infoware's "InCourt" product was very popularly received... I have strong hopes for this product in the coming months. My second meeting ran about 2 hours and I think will prove to be very important for Infoware both in developing our business in Western Canada and the support of litigators in general. So many possibilities for new business and products - very exciting. I was invited by the fellow I was meeting with to do some presentations in Edmonton tomorrow, but unfortunately already have a meeting for the afternoon. Guess I'll be coming out this way again in a few weeks!
Karina is out with the partner this evening so I am left to my own devices. Considering this storm (tornadoes expected too!) I think I may make my way down to the gym... maybe whatshername (the star of Felicity) will be there (as she's in the hotel).
UPDATE: the tornadoes cleared and the sun was out again just before nightfall.
