Calgary Report - Day 3
Sigh. The rain continues.
Today's meeting wasn't as successful as those of yesterday - it never really had the potential to be so, but all the same I wasn't too happy with how I handled it. With a positive frame of mind, it was a learning experience. I've been keeping in contact with Infoware via VPN, but still don't have much of a sense what's going on... and yet am still in a work frame of mind. I think starting tomorrow morning I'm going to have a final contact with the firm and then put myself in a vacation frame of mind. Think I'll seek out some (as of yet unfound) hip bistro and read my copy of Pico Iyer's "Video Nights in Kathmandu".
Karina and I have our reservations for the first few nights in Banff. I'm really looking forward to the trip - hopefully the weather will clear a little and we'll be able to get some long hikes in. The National Park staff is on strike so we may get into the park for free.
