Pet Peeves - Lazy Reporting, Old News Boxes
This morning, two pet peeves from my trip into work.
First off, Why are reporters and the media so damn lazy? One of the major Toronto papers ran a very weak front page article (below the fold) about how home contractors are involved in extramartial affairs. But that wasn't the end of my exposure to this (highly anecdotal) article, later on I hear a reporter outside Union interviewing commuters - the question? "What about contractors do women find so appealling?" >sigh<
Second pet peeve - has anyone else noticed that since Toronto's newspaper war started a few years ago that the stocking of newspaper boxes is entirely inconsistent? As I bladed along the street this morning I saw the front pages of several different days!
