The 22-yo Xabi is almost officially a RED - his agent is speaking of Liverpool being the "only club in the race" (???) and his former club Real Sociedad has confirmed the move. German Hamann has been told that he is to remain at Anfield - good news I think! There is certainly a lot of depth developing in the midfield.
