Tom Waits Touring Again!

I am one happy camper. It looks like Tom will be touring in support of his new album "Real Gone". Marc Ribot is playing on the tour and the album! Real Gone has been written and produced by Tom Waits and wife Kathleen Brennan, his longtime collaborator. The 15-track CD unveils Waits’ new musical hybrid, crafted from primal blues, Jamaican rock-steady grooves, African and Latin rhythms and melodies and what Waits calls “cubist funk”. No NA tour dates yet.

In other ANTI news, indie folk-rock sex sensation (and fan of Oasis tapas) Neko Case is releasing her live Toronto show with the Sadies on the label.
Writing of her previous solo work, Spin Magazine’s Alex Pappademas said “...she treats Americana like a wellspring of weirdness, not a retro refuge...” and in Rolling Stone, Neva Chonin called her sound “…country so cool it shivers.”
