No British Grand Prix?

This is a bit of a surprise (to me)! It seems no one wanted to pony up the F1 fee. The British Racing Drivers Club and the Government are both pointing fingers as to who is at fault. This is the end of an era as Silverstone was the site of the first F1 race.
