Viacom, the media powerhouse, has declared itself behind the Republican Party and will now no longer be broadcasting advocacy advertisements on any of its stations (including MTV and Comedy Central). What Freedom! Truly democracy in action! And just think here we all were feeling safe that market forces would rule and alternative views could receive attention if enough cash was throw at the media outlets. Alas, it is not so.
