Celtic fell to one of their most embarrassing defeats ever in manager Gordon Strachan's first game in charge as they lost to Slovakian side Artmedia Bratislava. The Scots now have to score 5 goals uncontested at home to avoid being kicked out of European.

Yesterday there was also some terrible LFC news, as supporter Michael Shields was sentenced to 15 years prison in Bulgaria for a crime he did not commit. Shields was convicted of fracturing the skull of a Bulgurian waiter despite the fact that another individual has come forward to admit responsibility.
