Home is where the PhD is

An interesting story for my friends in or recently out of grad school: On average, it took Canadian doctoral students five years and 10 months to complete their degrees. In two programs humanities and social sciences it took, on average, six years and eight months. Doctoral graduates were on average 36 years old when they received their degrees.
