Leafs are Back
The following was just released by Maple Leafs media relations:
(July 27, 2005) - The Toronto Maple Leafs will host Northeast Division rival Ottawa at Air Canada Centre on October 5 to open their 2005-06 regular season. The Senators will also provide the opposition for Toronto in their first road game on October 10 at the Corel Centre.
Saturday night games once again dominate the Maple Leafs schedule with Toronto playing 25 times on Saturday (16 at home and nine on the road). The team will also play 16 games on Tuesday (11 at home and five on the road). The Maple Leafs do not have home games scheduled for Sunday.
