Alberta Premier Ralph Klein held a press conference today to announce that Alberta will recognize same-sex marriage. Klein stated: "We will proceed to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, much to our chagrin, following proclamation of the federal Civil Marriage Act". Quel dommage, Ralph.
