Liverpool 1 - Wigan 0

Liverpool registered their first Premiership win since mid-January.

Sami Hyypia's first goal of the season on the half hour mark was enough to secure all three points for the Reds in a scrappy game at the JJB Stadium and end their mini-slump - the longest since Rafa took over. Robbie Fowler started for the Reds.

  • was good to see the big H-Mann in the lineup(my man of the match) as well as Dudek. I am still not sold on Reina or Kewell.

  • 11 clean sheets in a row - What would sell you on a goalie?

  • 11 clean sheets--that's the defense (spoken as a former centre back) ha ha :)--- i'll give a save or two to the keeper, the rest to H,C,F and R or T ---

ps remember the same defense vs Juve and Chelsea last year but with Dudek
