North Korea 'to conduct nuclear test'

This is not a way to make friends. North Korea (called part of Bush's axis of evil in 2002) has announced today that it is planning to conduct a nuclear test 'in the future'.

The BBC reports "The move would 'bolster' the country's self-defence in the face of US military hostility, official agency KCNA said."

The regime will no doubt face international pressure over its nuclear programme as it can be imagined that this declaration has many countries worried about the stability of the region.
